From the capital city of Amsterdam, ‘the Venice of the North‘, to the quaint villages and Renaissance cities of Ghent, Antwerp and Bruges, we will enjoy medieval architecture; beautiful historic, botanic and private gardens; Dutch and Flemish masterpieces; Dutch cheeses, and world-famous Belgian chocolates. Four additional days touring magnificent gardens, including the world-renowned Keukenhof gardens during peak tulip bloom, and the exuberant Bloemencorso Bollenstreek Flower Parade.
The Garden Tourist’s Royal Gardens of Central Europe

Once the seat of numerous royal families, Central Europe is an architectural and botanical gem! Our tour begins in Prague, with the Prague Castle, historic landmarks, castle gardens, and its iconic Old Town. We then travel to Moravia, the wine region of the Czech Republic with its charming villages, elegant palaces, baroque gardens, and wonderful plant collections. Slovakia is a land of castles and mountains, known for the natural beauty of its High Tatras and glacier lakes. We will tour the castle and historic quarter of its capital, Bratislava, as well as renowned public and private gardens. Our last destination is Austria, with a tour of Vienna, a classical music concert, and a visit to a royal and contemporary gardens.
